When you use Ekush Ponji, you may create the following content which is stored exclusively on your device:
- Personal events and reminders you add to the calendar
- Quotes you save from the daily quotes feature
- Words you save from the daily words feature
- App preferences and settings (language, theme, notification preferences)
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
We do not directly collect any personal information. However, our third-party advertising partner, Google AdMob, may automatically collect certain information to serve advertisements. This may include:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- Device type, operating system, and version
- IP address (used to determine approximate country-level location)
- Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
- App usage data relevant to ad serving
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
We explicitly do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Precise or approximate location data
- Photos, media, or files from your device
- Contacts or call logs
- Financial or payment information
- Health or biometric data
How We Use Information
Since we do not collect personal information directly, our use of data is limited to:
- Delivering app functionality — your locally stored events, reminders, saved quotes, and saved words are used solely to provide the features you requested
- Serving advertisements — Google AdMob uses device and usage data to serve relevant ads within the App
- Content delivery — the App fetches daily quotes and words from our static content repository hosted on GitHub. No personal data is transmitted during this process
Advertising
Ekush Ponji uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your device settings and applicable regional laws.
3.1 Personalized Ads
If personalized ads are enabled, AdMob uses your Advertising ID and usage patterns to show ads relevant to your interests. You can opt out at any time:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
3.2 Non-Personalized Ads
If you opt out of personalized ads, AdMob will serve contextual ads. Some data may still be collected by AdMob for fraud prevention and frequency capping.
3.3 Children & Ads
Ekush Ponji is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly serve targeted advertisements to children.

Data Storage & Security
4.1 Local Storage
All user-generated data is stored locally on your device using Android's secure local storage. This data is not backed up to any external server by us.
4.2 Content Repository
Daily quotes and words are fetched from a static content repository hosted on GitHub. These requests do not include any personal information.
4.3 Data Retention
Your locally stored data is retained on your device until you:
- Delete it manually within the App
- Use the "Clear All Data" option in App Settings
- Uninstall the App
4.4 Security
We rely on Android's built-in security model to protect locally stored data. No method of storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights & Data Deletion
5.1 Deleting Your Data
You can delete all locally stored data directly within the App:
- Open Ekush Ponji
- Go to Settings
- Tap Clear All Data
- Confirm the action
5.2 Uninstalling the App
Uninstalling Ekush Ponji from your device will remove all locally stored app data.
5.3 Advertising Data
To reset or delete your Advertising ID, go to Settings → Google → Ads and select "Delete advertising ID".

Third-Party Services
Ekush Ponji integrates the following third-party services:
App Permissions
No other permissions are requested. We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
Children's Privacy
Ekush Ponji is a general-purpose calendar application not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided personal information, contact us at ekushlabs@gmail.com immediately.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:
- The effective date at the top of this page will be revised
- Significant changes will be communicated through an in-app notification or Play Store update notice
Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
